SUMMARY OF TERMS: If selected to participate as a food concessionaire, a $600 deposit is required to hold your space and menu item(s). This deposit will be held as a minimum against 30% of gross sales at the festival. The concessionaire has the responsibility for reporting and paying sales tax on its sales. Concessionaire must first agree to the Agreement for Concessionaires’ terms and conditions to be considered. Your application will not submit without first checking this box.
Food and beverage items can only be sold to the public using specially printed Festival Coupons that are sold to the public by the festival’s independent Box Office operation or by pre-programed festival supplied credit card terminals that can only be rented from the festival. Under no circumstances can a concessionaire use their own credit card machines or accept cash. No soft drinks, packaged beverages, bottled water, etc. or any type of alcohol will be permitted. Custom fresh made beverages may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Kettle-corn or popcorn type menu items are never permitted.
Concessionaire’s signage, banners, flags, etc. cannot exceed more than four (4) feet over the natural horizontal height of the concessionaire’s tent or trailer. In other words, banners, signs, flags, etc. must be kept low to the tent or trailer top and extensive artificial height will not be permitted.
Your operation must look professional at all times, which means you have clean tablecloths and table skirts on all visible tables and counters. Your overall operation is kept clean (front and back), your staff is well groomed and in clean outfits or clothing. Your menu signage needs to be professionally printed with menu amounts reflected in coupon value, not $ value. The required images of your operating booth submitted on your application will be used in consideration of your acceptance.
